Director of Media & Communications

As our church has grown and our media resources upgraded a need for a new ministry leader has arised. We are looking for someone who loves writing, graphic design, and technology. Support the ministries of the church with clear communications across multiple formats. Ensure clear and professional messaging of the church to the community and the public.
Key Responsibilities
Expected Regular Schedule
Weekly Staff Meeting, 2hrs, Church Services, 4hrs, Regular office hours, 12hrs.
Compensation range: Salary based on education, experience, & demonstrated skill.
Support the ministries of the church with clear communications across multiple formats. Ensure clear and professional messaging of the church to the community and the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, train, & maintain a team of ministry volunteers to operate the Sunday morning service media needs. This includes livestream, projection, sound system, & lighting.
- Maintain the church’s Audio, Video, and Multimedia equipment.
- Produce professional-quality graphics for the church announcement screens, sign, website, and social media.
- Oversee the weekly production of the church bulletin.
- Ensure the maintenance of the church website, social media, and other digital presences.
- Produce videos in support of the church ministries.
- Create a high-engagement social media presence across multiple platforms.
- Proof newsletters and other publications generated by ministry staff and employees.
- Provide audio and video support for the church
- Assist the Senior Pastor with the care and discipleship of the congregation as needed.
- Must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ whose life is known to others to bear the fruit of the Spirit.
- Must be actively involved in a local church of like faith with faithful attendance and actively volunteering or serving.
- Must possess strong knowledge of multimedia equipment and software such as ProPresenter & Canva.
- Must be a skilled writer and graphics artist.
- Must possess at least an associate's degree and demonstrate a good knowledge of language mechanics and writing skills.
- Must be able to quickly learn multimedia systems and instruct others.
