The MZBC preschool kids' classes are built around one idea and that is to consistently and repeatedly share the gospel message through age appropriate language, lessons and group activities.
You are seed sowers and it is a privilege to join in the nurturing of your child and shaping the way he or she sees Jesus. Through the Preschool sessions we hope that each child will receive Jesus’ love expressed through our staff, see the Savior’s expression of love for them through biblical stories that reveal the teachings of Jesus Christ, and find their love for Him and for others growing more and more.
Our Preschool Staff
The Mt. Zion Preschool staff is comprised of volunteer members who are led to care for you and your child’s every need. Whether you are visiting our childcare facility to care for your child or leaving your child in our care any of our volunteers is happy to help in any way. There are established requirements that must be met for each of our potential volunteers to serve as Preschool Staff. These include but are not limited to: passing an FBI background check and agreeing to our Code of Conduct.
Our Childcare Facility
Mt. Zion offers you and your child an environment filled with age appropriate educational items available to help your child feel right at home.
If you would like to tour our Kentucky state-approved childcare facility you may do so by contacting the church office at 270.554.0518 to schedule your visit.
If your child has a special need (physical, emotional, or nutritional) please let our volunteers know.
Parent Notification System
If at any time your child becomes distressed and un-consolable, or a question or concern arises during his/her time with us, we ask that you leave us your contact information at drop off.
Security
It is against church policy for a child to leave the childcare facility with anyone other than the person who dropped them off.
During church events, the Mt. Zion campus, specifically all direct entrances to the children’s wing, are under the constant surveillance of security personnel for unusual activity.
