Jay Orazine
PASTOR of WORSHIP AND MEDIA ARTS
Phone 270-554-0518 ext. 103
Pastor Jay began serving at Mt. Zion as Pastor of Worship & Media Arts in September 2018 along with his wife, Sandy, and son, Jayson.
Currently, Jay is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS). He previously received a Masters degree in Church Revitalization from SEBTS as well as a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry degree from Mid-Continent University.
Jay has served leading worship in several churches across Kentucky over the past 18 years and has acted in many additional roles within the church in volunteer capacities. In addition to leading our blended worship services, he provides leadership in the areas of online (social media) content, web site development, video production, technology, and helps lead small group discipleship.
Jay believes that the worship service must lead people closer to God and prepare their hearts for His Word from the pulpit. Among his favorite verses is:
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
